About the Role
To provide support and tailored training to all learners accessing the DBC iProgramme. Creating new delivery modules and courses to address the local needs of employers and learners.
Responsibilities
To deliver English and Maths courses to learners in-house and within the workplace
Supporting a range of learners with differing abilities from Entry Level 1 – Level 2
Development and effective promotion of independent learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet learning aims
Produce quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for class room led sector and employer led courses
Delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment that encourages and motivates learners to remain on provision
To develop new course material to meet the needs of the learners and local labour market
To support learners with their employability needs as required
To provide confidential and impartial information, advice and guidance on employment and learning opportunities
To manage own caseload to ensure contractual targets are met
To ensure learner files meets contractual compliance
Enrol learners for any required external exams
Invigilate learners exams/tests
Maintain awarding bodies records
To carry out learner reviews at milestones
Ensure success stories are prepared, circulated and displayed
Maintain own CPD logs

Skills and Experience
AET/ PTLLS qualified
Group delivery
Experienced in preparing session plans
Knowledge of welfare to work sector
ECDL or equivalent
Knowledge of the local labour market
Working with minimal supervision
Able to motivate and inspire learners
Good communication skills
Experience of working to targets
