events crew member- Guaranteed Interview

Our 14-day Sector-based Work Academy is a comprehensive and interactive course designed to help you step into employment. Working alongside The Ruffins Group, this course is designed to provide you with the specific skills and knowledge to be successful during the interview process.

Job Description:

We provide the labour for the events industry. The work is varied and takes place all over nationwide. You will be helping our clients set up and take down events. Your duties will include:  

  • Loading and unloading trucks.

  • Setting up sound, Lighting and AV Equipment.

  • Building and dismantling set and staging 

  • Working as site crew/production crew/runners on festivals and corporate shows.

  • General labouring with plenty of heavy lifting and support 

  • Putting together marquees, trade stands, temporary fencing, tracks & walkways.

  • Working with a crew travelling to shows and events across the UK and Overseas. Drivers are also needed where jobs are nationwide (own vehicle or Ruffins Group Vehicles can be used) 

  • Plant Operators also needed (Telehandler, Counterbalance, IPAF etc)

Am I eligible?

  • Aged 19+ – no maximum age limit 

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK 

  • Have been a British/EU citizen for the last 3 years
