Specification

DBC Training is inviting companies to tender for the provision of IT support services. These include management of the IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, cyber security, IT support and telephony across the organisation. This new service is expected to contribute directly to achieving DBC’s annual priorities for FY2021-22. 

 

DBC Training is looking for a supplier that has a track record of providing comprehensive support services underpinned by excellent customer service and offers a tailored approach, supported by a robust service level agreement, to meet the requirements of DBC’s operations.  DBC Training currently has 65 staff members across 3 East Midlands based centres. 

DBC Training hopes to build a successful partnership with the selected supplier based on an agreed future technology strategy and high-quality implementation.

The contract will be awarded for a period of 2 years and will be reviewed annually and renewed based on performance. 

 

Submission

All bids should be in a format that complies with the requirements of this ITT. Bids should be submitted by email to vicki@dbc-training.co.uk using the attached document. 

 

Award Criteria

The award will be made following the following criteria and will abide by National Procurement Guideline Treaty Principles.

Submitting a bid In general, the bid should include the following:

  • Organisational profile

  • Proposed solution and how it meets the specification

  • Financial proposal

 

Organisational profile:

  • Company profile, including brief history and financial overview

  • Case studies/credentials demonstrating relevant experience and skills profile

  • Names and brief biographies of key staff

 

DBC Training are particularly keen to receive bids from organisations which are – or are working towards becoming – living wage employers and that have a broadly representative and balanced Board from gender and ethnicity perspectives.

 

Proposed solution:

  • Clear explanation as to the proposed approach to meeting the specification set out in this ITT. Detailed project plan, including timelines, assumptions and dependencies, resourcing and risks.

 

Financial proposal:

  • Full breakdown costings for the proposed solution in sterling

  • Separate accounting of VAT and/or any other applicable tax, duty, or charge.

  • Detailing of any discount applied in view of DBC TRAINING’s not-for-profit status.

 

All bidders should also note the following:

• all bids should be submitted in English;

• all bids should be submitted in electronic form;

• this ITT and the response may be incorporated in whole or in part into the final contract;

• any bids which do not fully comply with the requirements of this ITT may be disregarded at the absolute discretion of DBC Training.
