HR SUPPORT 

Start date: January

Typical duration: 15 Months

In 2023 the HR industry grew by 12.8%, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The pandemic saw a tremendous shift in working trends, with the transition to remote and hybrid working being among the most prominent. This, along with the importance of employee assistance schemes and a good workplace culture, mean that effective HR Support is an extremely important factor in the success of an organisation.

HR Support apprentices typically either work in a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function delivering front line support to managers and employees, or as an HR Manager in a small organisation.

The successful apprentice may be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or any other professional body that recognises this apprenticeship within its membership criteria (membership is subject to the professional bodies own membership requirements)
