Employment and Skills Coach – IT
Reporting to: Employability Performance Manager
Location: East Midlands
Key Responsibilities:

Quality Teaching and Learning of the ECDL Essentials/Extra and Digital skills qualifications

Produce quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for classroom led sector and employer-led courses
-
Delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment that encourages and motivates learners to remain on the provision
-
To support learners one to one with their employability needs
-
To provide confidential and impartial information, advice and guidance on employment and learning opportunities
-
To manage own caseload to ensure contractual targets are met
-
To ensure learner files meet contractual compliance
-
Enrol learners for any required external exams
-
Invigilate learner’s exams/tests
-
Maintain awarding bodies records
-
Ensure learners have access to up to date job vacancies
-
Intensive support for learners with all job search activity
-
Job match learners to suitable vacancies and placements and liaise with Employer Engagement Team/Job Brokers
-
To carry out learner reviews at milestones
-
Ensure success stories are prepared, circulated and displayed
-
Maintain own CPD logs

To carry out any other duties as required

Experience and Skills:
-
AET/ PTLLS qualified
-
Group delivery
-
Experienced in preparing session plans
-
Knowledge of welfare to work sector
-
ECDL Level 2 or equivalent ICT Qualification covering Microsoft Office
-
Knowledge of the local labour market
-
Working with minimal supervision
-
Able to motivate and inspire learners
-
Good communication skills
-
Experience of working towards targets
-
Experience in job matching clients
