The drive to meet net-zero targets combined with on-going increases in energy prices means that there is now a significant and growing demand for businesses that can carry out quality retrofit energy efficiency works to homes.

With significantly increased investment into making homes and infrastructure more sustainable, this course will support new entrants to the sector and upskill/ reskill those with trade skills. Be part of this sustainable sector that supports reducing carbon emissions and the green economy.

 

Course learners will gain an understanding of what retrofit is, what retrofit achieves and how they can have a future in retrofit. How will I learn?

We have a range of flexible learning methods available to suit your needs. You can attend this course either:

  • At your local DBC Training centre

  • Remotely via Microsoft Teams or Zoom

​

Am I eligible?

  • Aged 19+ – no maximum age limit 

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK 

  • Have been a British/EU citizen for the last 3 years 

  • To be unemployed and seeking work
