If you would like any support in thinking about your choice of career, what qualifications you would like to gain, life goals or gaining employment, an experienced qualified member of the DBC Training team can talk you through your options and choices. We offer free confidential and impartial advice and guidance (IAG) on all aspects of your future including: training and development needs and can offer you the information, advice and guidance to help you research all your options and plan your career
 

What we can support you with:​

  • Preparation for work to enhance your IT, job search and employability skills.

  • Opportunities to achieve qualifications (accredited/non-accredited).

  • Ongoing support in employment or training.

  • Individual and impartial careers information, advice and guidance.

  • A tailored 1 to 1 IAG appointment before joining any of our programmes, ensuring we have identified your needs and understanding the right route for you.

  • Opportunities to learn from employers about work, employment and the skills that are valued in the workplace.

  • We can signpost you to additional resources, support or advice that will help them you address any learning needs or issues, helping you to achieve your full potential.

  • Signposting to other sources of information such as health and wellbeing services

  • Signposting or referring to external specialist local help to deliver support, advice and guidance to help you to progress into meaningful employment, education or training.

  • Upskilling of your workforce
